There are currently no openings in the Water Department. Applications are taken all the time and can also be picked up at the Village Hall.
The Water Department is responsible for reading the water meters and fixing broken meters, testing wells, the water supply, water main break repairs, flushing the fire hydrants, plowing snow and helping the Street Department and Sewer Department with their projects.
Warren has 696 service connections, pumps 150,000 gallons of water a day and has 120 fire hydrants.
Dan Long was hired as a snow plow driver for the village on January 25, 2017. Dan helped out when one of the full time employees were gone. On June 25, 2018 Dan was hired full time to work with Todd Stone, Jeff Bartell and Scott Raisbeck to learn the different jobs in their departments. Dan took over as Water Department Coordinator on March 30, 2019 upon Todd Stone’s retirement.
