Have a Safe and Happy Summer. Plan to attend the Christmas in July Sale at the Community Building July 12, 13 & 14, 2018

Comments From The Chief

The Warren Police Department hopes everyone has a Happy and Safe Spring/Summer!

With Spring/Summer Sports and School in Session, please take care and give yourself a little extra time driving.  With Baseball Games now at Meridian Park there will be more children/adults walking from their cars, homes etc. to the Park/Bleachers.  Please Remember there are 4 way stop signs at both intersections by the Park on Clinton Street.  Just a couple of minutes could be the difference between a life or injury/death.  Please drive with caution and watch for pedestrians and other vehicles.  Remember it is ILLEGAL to pass a stopped school bus with its red lights flashing and the stop arm out.

If you have any concerns, you may reach me at (815)745-2418 Monday through Friday.  We have officers working at night and on the weekends and if they are not in the office please leave a message and they will contact you.  If you need an officer for a non-emergency please call (815)745-2218.  If you have an EMERGENCY please call 911.

The Full-Time Officers for the Department are Chief Bryan Bohnsack, Sgt. Luke Barker and Patrolman Aaron Smith.  We also have 10 Part-Time Officers and 1 civilian in the Department.
