IRS Scam – if you receive a phone call from someone stating it’s the IRS please just hang up. DO NOT give them any personal/financial information. The IRS does not contact anyone by phone.
Received a phone call today (9/20/2016) from a person stating University of Illinois was doing a Transportation Survey. He was very hard to understand. He wanted my Driver’s License information. I repeated that he had called the police department and that I did not want him to contact anyone else in Warren. He hung up on me. Please do NOT give any information out if you are contacted.
